Nivcheret is our youngest residential program - opened in 2020 for orphaned girls, age 5 and up. The youngest of the homes, with the smallest beds and the most paper cranes hanging from the ceilings. Two hundred children live here today.

Nivcheret was built for the youngest grief. Girls arrive at five, six, seven years old, often from the home of a relative who can no longer manage. Some have lost a mother. Some, both parents. All of them need to be held by a place that knows their names and the names of the people they're mourning.
Private or shared rooms, ensuite, made by the girls themselves. Their space.
Home-cooked food. 24/7 fruit, coffee, dessert. No locked pantries.
Many arrive years behind. We close the gap. 96% graduate seminary.
One adult who knows her, advocates for her, calls her on her birthday.
Doctors, dentists, trauma-informed psychologists. On-staff.
Career training, Shidduchim guidance, wedding support. We stay.
“On her first birthday here, the staff baked her mother's favorite cake. They had asked her aunt for the recipe.”Devorah, mentor· Nivcheret · Speaking about a girl who arrived at age 8
Nivcheret holds the youngest, most fragile arrivals. Your monthly gift funds trauma-informed therapy, school catch-up, and the slow daily work of becoming safe again. You'll get a quarterly letter and once a year, a hand-written note (anonymous, by request).
