The Annual Dinner is the home's largest gathering of the year - a single evening that brings together donors, alumni, and friends of Bayit Lepleitot for an unhurried meal, a brief program from Rabbi Chaim Elazar, and the announcement of the home's commitments for the year ahead. Last year's dinner seated four hundred and twenty in a converted warehouse in Industry City. This year we are returning to the same room.
The program runs ninety minutes. Doors open at six. The seudah begins at seven. There will be a one-minute video shown twice during the evening - once before dinner, once after - and a single dvar Torah. The remaining time is for conversation. Every table will be seated with at least one current house mother or staff member from Jerusalem, who is flying in for the week. The dinner is plated. The plate is $250. Sponsorship tables are available at $5,000 (ten seats) and $10,000 (twenty seats with named recognition in the program).
