Most of the girls never ate a balanced meal before coming to Bayit Lepleitot. Now, they are treated daily to delicious, multiple-course cuisine. Steaming trays of wholesome, top-quality and varied breakfasts, lunches and suppers, are prepared with tremendous love and thought and eaten as the girls relate their day’s adventure to a counselors listening ear. This is their new reality.
The girls’ clothing is no less thought-out. Every girl receives a budget for personal shopping, and a counselor accompanies her on a private excursion to help her choose her new wardrobe. Sometimes, a particular child’s sponsor may choose to pay for an additional outfit or two for Yom Tov to help make her feel like a true princess. Of course, the Clothing Room is always fully stocked with anything the girls might fancy to complete their attire.
